Sentinel Range Service preforms preventative maintenance for Law Enforcement range

This local law enforcement range in Michigan called us for some help with a range that had some targets that were not turning and some other minor issues. Upon arrival, we immediately found the problems and were able to fix them all!

There was some bullet fragments stuck between the insulator and the buss bar that provides power to the trolley. We removed the material and repaired the damaged portion and reinstalled the piece and the target immediately began to work properly.

There was also some issues with target holders not holding the backers tight enough and would release from the holder every time the target moved down range.

With some adjustments to the clamp we were able to get it tight enough to move the target from the firing line to the other end of the range without the backer falling out. Once we completed some other adjustments and made sure all the targets lined up exactly the same we ran some tests, cleaned up and thanked everybody for inviting us out.
