Sentinel Range Service removes and replaces acoustic ceiling tile on baffles

This range had a minor roof leak during a severe storm that damaged the acoustic tiles on the baffles in an indoor range. There was also some minor damage to the plywood underneath. We noticed the damage during a preventative maintenance visit earlier in the year and reported it to the range master.

When budgeting got approved we rolled into action.

We removed over 150 tiles and were able to replace them with exact matches. We recreated the spacing to make a nice transition from old existing tile to the fresh install for this range.

As always, after everything was installed we cleaned it better than we found it and then did another preventative maintenance. There were a couple of targets not working properly and to make matters worse, the original installers, installed the valve access door upside down blocking them with the top plate of the trap so access was not so easy!

We ended up removing the box completely and reinstalling the boxes on their side for easy access by anybody, even range staff when needed. This little trick worked and we were able to get all the targets working again. By then end of the visit, Sentinel Range Service made raving fans by leaving a range working at %100! Truly "Range Mastery, Mission Assurance".
